Get ready to enjoy delightfully sweet, dark burgundy figs that are large and quite numerous. Little Miss Figgy was selectively bred to produce some of the tastiest figs around. Simply taste one and you're sure to become a believer. Furthermore, it produces this fruit in both Spring and Fall, so you'll get more fruit more often. Besides its delectable figs, you'll love its compact growth habit. This dwarf fig shrub's foliage is dense, with no pruning required. At maturity, it reaches a manageable 4 ft. to 8 ft. H and 3 ft. to 4 ft. W. Therefore, you can easily mix them into garden beds, use them as accents or even plant a hedge of them. This variety is more cold-hardy than traditional figs as well. It's hardy from USDA Zones 7a to 10b. This selection is deciduous, so expect them to lose all of their leaves in Winter. New growth re-emerges in Spring. Plant in Full Sun for best results and water 2 to 3 times per week for the first growing season. They tolerate most soil types, including clay soil, and are drought tolerant. These Little Miss Figgy Dwarf Fig shrubs are well-established in 2 Gal. pots. They tend to range from 10 to 16 in. tall when shipped. They are not guaranteed to have fruit on arrival.
